WEA Special Education Boot Camps are designed for all educators, including school administrators, who want to learn how to provide special education programs designed to benefit students while meeting all of the special education requirements. Disciplinary procedures will be addressed in both Section 504 and Special Education Law. In addition, the Boot Camp also provides information on school-wide positive behavior systems designed to prevent serious behavioral problems.

Boot Camps offer five days of training, including Special Education Law and IEP (for elementary or secondary level), plus a choice of up to two optional sessions: Autism Awareness, Behavior, Effective Instruction/Brain Research, Response to Intervention, and Universal Design for Learning.
