The Washington Alternate Assessment System (WAAS) has undergone significant changes for this school year.
The intent of the changes is to link the assessment more directly to the student’s IEP goals. In addition, the student’s performance on the WAAS can then be used to develop the present level of performance to drive goals for the following year. Click here to see the flowchart.
