Workshop Description: 

Particpants will understand how the rules and regulations affect practice in providing programs for students in special education. Discussions will include:

• Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE),
• Appropriate student evaluation,
• Individualized Education Program (IEP),
• Least Restrictive Environmnet (LRE),
• Specially Designed Instrcution (SDI),
• Parent and student partcipation in decision-making,
• Procedural due process, and
• Discipline.
